It is obvious that we all have a special liking for the elements Hydrogen and Oxygen. Because these make up over 90% of the cucumber, and should be considered the ultimate elements. We must be forever thankful for their existance. Hallowed be The Great Cucumber.  Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc, Calcium, and Carbon are also worth, if not a temple, at least a shrine each. But we might all have a special inferior element we keep close to our heart. It might be a non-holy element, but still a distinguished element in its own way. How does the cucumber religion population feel about the elements of our periodic table and which one is your guardian element?

Well I would have to say my guardian element is definitely Francium (Fr). I feel like it's the element which I can relate to most. Not only does it have one of the lowest electronegativity of all known elements, it's also useless.

And if combined with phosphorus it becomes...

I also much like Xenon.

My favorite element is Bismuth (Bi) it belongs to the groups of evil elemens: Anti-Mony, Arsenic, and Bismuth. And it is as evil as it sounds. Except this evil is very well disguised. It is known to cure ulcers, syphelis, and generally do very good things to the digestive system, it is the last stable element, and this is where some of the evil comes in, because it is not actually stable. Also the picture speaks for itself:

Mine is "W" also known as Tungsten or wolfram.  It has the highest melting point of all the non-alloyed metals and the second highest of all the elements after carbon. Pretty darn badass I'd say. And it looks pretty cool too. The name "tungsten" (from the Nordic tung sten, meaning "heavy stone") is used in English, French, Italian and many other languages as the name of the element.

My favorite is the 88th element, Radium.I'm not gonna lie with with my reasoning, it's purely because of the resemblance to my name. I'm not as scientific as the rest of you either so I'll just link to a wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radium

My favourite Element is the 1st one, Hydrogen because its simplicity and it builds up about 75% of the universe. I also like hydrogen because 60% of the cucumber is hydrogen.
