Halloween a cucumberish tradition

Recent archeological findings, support what we in the cucumberreligion have known for a long time. Most of the celebrations shared by people in all countries were actually linked to the one true religion, the cucumber religion. Halloween, or Agurween as the ancient romans called it was very much like the Halloween celebrated today. The main difference was that the children that went door to door would say Trick or Cucumber. But a certain Mr. Christ would in his youth change this ancient tradition. The thing is Mr. Christ or Jesus as some call him, didn't really want cucumbers, because he felt so darn special. In addition to his cucumberfobia, he felt that the phrase "trick or treat" was catchier. And so the many who would give birth to the worlds largest religion, would also change the feast of Agurween, into Halloween.

But by all means, the cucumberreligion wishes you a happy Halloween.

I think we should give those so called "trick or treaters" cucumber slices if they ring our door bells. Not only is it a healthier alternative, but it is much closer to the original tradition.

I agree. A slice of cucumber, or even two slices would be a healthy break from the sugary madness of Halloween. And if people still want candy, why not have candy in the shape of cucumbers? I'd eat that anytime.
